This was a fun track to work on! A poppy song created by Projekt Ich with lyrics and vocals by Martin Johansson of Electric City Cowboys in Swedish and English, that breaths synthpop with a hint of the eighties. I had some Weeknd, A-Ha and Alphaville vibes, so I went in that direction. With some nifty production tricks I changed the singular background vocals to complete harmonies to fit the new chords in the chorus. And added a guitar, because, well, why not. The original track and the different remixes are all great to listen to, I am honored to be part of a Projekt Ich release again. Let’s hope lots of people will enjoy these tracks on the radio and the different internet shows and stations that are always following the inspiring tracks this project delivers.
