After the video for the main theme of Abandom, I wanted to make the next video something special. I was already experimenting with Studio Artist to transform video to moving art. Studio Artist can help to create wonderful art from source material, even from video, but it will create a new version for every frame. When I encountered the fantastic free application EbSynth by Scrt Wpns, I suddenly saw there was an option to map artistic renderings of images to video, resulting in a “moving painting”.

Because “Defining Future” is a vocal track, I also wanted to incorporate a visible singer in the scenes, so some nifty motion tracking and rotoscoping was needed before putting the manipulated video through EbSynth.
