Hoof – Psychedelique feat. Lique from Hoof on Vimeo.

Another release, that almost started gathering dust in the Hoof studio. An uptempo trance track that borrows heavy from psytrance, but also has an electric guitar and for the first time: self-recorded vocals, by Lique.

The spoken words are from a radio radio play that was aired 13 january 1944, a episode from the series Suspense called “Dime a Dance“. The actress you hear is none other than Lucille Ball. Material like this is now in the public domain, so can end up in a cinematic track like this.

The artist Lique is part of Hoof but actually makes multiple appearances in this release. She provided the vocals for the Aaah-part but also made the wonderful painting that graces the track cover. You can find her work on liqueangel.nl, feel free to contact her for a painting. She creates her particular style of portrait art commissioned for a broad range of people.
